How a unique internship program enhances inclusion and diversity at Stantec

In the San Francisco Bay area, Natalie Chiu joined our San Francisco and Walnut Creek offices through a unique program originated by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (PUC). This video, produced by The Arc San Francisco, a non-profit specializing in employment for adults with developmental differences, highlights how the internship program connected Natalie and Stantec.

“The internship gave her an opportunity to meet us, and for us to meet her,” says Stephen Robinson regarding the program that brought Natalie to Stantec.

Natalie has moved from intern to employee and “has brought a lot to our office,” says Stacey Robinson.
