Stantec appoints Stephen Montminy as regional leader for Quebec
Leader will focus on excellence, collaboration, and innovation in support of the Quebec team’s continued evolution

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has appointed Stephen Montminy as regional leader of the Quebec team. With his extensive engineering experience and inclusive leadership, Montminy will contribute to driving growth and visibility for the group in Quebec, which comprises 1,600 employees across the province. He will promote excellence and innovation through collaboration across business lines and the development of strategic initiatives.
An electrical engineer by trade, Montminy brings 30 years of experience in engineering and strategic development, primarily in senior executive roles. He joined Stantec in 2020 to lead the Energy business line in Quebec, and most recently served as vice president, account management and strategic positioning within the Energy and Resources group. Actively involved in the industry, Montminy sits on the board of the Quebec Electrical Industry Association (AIEQ) and leads the Energy technical committee of the Quebec Association of Consulting Engineering Firms (AFG – Quebec).

Along with this appointment, Stantec also wishes to thank Isabelle Jodoin, who will be retiring after 38 years with the company, including the last nine as regional leader. Isabelle played a key role in employee engagement and team growth in recent years. Her leadership and dedication have been instrumental in establishing a strong team recognized within the Quebec industry.
