Stantec Supports Atlantic Canada’s Art Scene

September 17, 2018

Artistic activity within a community brings people together. Here at Stantec, supporting the arts is part of our four pillars.

Stantec is Theatre New Brunswick’s first supporting partner dedicated solely to the support of work with New Brunswick (NB) playwrights. Under this partnership, Stantec is a leading partner in the company’s 50th anniversary season for two world premiere productions by NB playwriters. These two productions will tour the province with performances in six communities following a full week of performances in Fredericton. The two plays being showcased are Any Given Moment by Kim Parkhill in September 2018, and A Short History of New Brunswick and Everywhere Else by Ryan Griffith in March 2019.

Ever since 2012, Stantec has been a proud supporter of the Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival. This world class festival runs every September in Fredericton and attracts around 100,000 visitors each year. It brings in musical acts from all over North America and is the premier music event in Atlantic Canada.
